Moen has been identified as the most trusted in the Lifestory Research 2018 America’s Most Trusted® Faucet Brand Study.
The 2018 America’s Most Trusted® Faucet Brand Study is based on 8,044 opinions collected over the course of the prior 12 months in the United States. As the 2018 America’s Most Trusted® Faucet Brand Study, Moen produced the highest score. The rank order of trust of the brands were: (1) Moen (2) Kohler, (3) Delta, (4) Pfister, (5) Peerless, (6) Sterling, and (7) American Standard.
To identify America’s Most Trusted®, Lifestory Research conducts the most extensive survey in America. People anonymously assess the trust they have in brands they encounter during their active search for specific products. Survey results are compared with peer organizations of like size and complexity and are highly reliable statistically. To be considered, brands needed to receive enough survey responses to achieve a 95% confidence level with no more than a 3% margin of error.
Trust is calculated based on the Lifestory Research Net Trust Quotient Score. This score includes three levels of consumer trust: “advocates,” a customer who feels a significant trust toward the brand; “neutrals,” those who have a moderate level of trust in a brand; and “antagonists,” those who do not trust a brand.
