Each year, Lifestory Research surveys thousands of people searching for the best new countertops and asks them to review the most brands they trust. This year, in the Lifestory Research 2021 America's Most Trusted® Countertop Brand Study, we found that Corian countertops are the most trusted countertop brand. Corian received the best reviews and trust ratings among the most popular countertop brands as judged and ranked by consumers.
The Lifestory Research 2020 America's Most Trusted® Countertop Brand Study identified Corian as the most trusted brand among people considering purchasing a countertop for their home. Corian generated a Net Trust Quotient Score of 109.2 and the 5 Star Trust Rating among people actively shopping countertops for their home. This is the second year of this product study, and it is the second year in a row in which Corian captured the top rankings among kitchen and bath countertop brands.

The Lifestory Research 2021 America's Most Trusted® Countertop Brand study examines trust among customers actively shopping a countertop for their home. The 2020 ranking is based on 11,435 opinions of people surveyed between January and December in the United States. The trust score is calculated based on how thousands of people judge the merits of more than 500 brands and product segments. Brands included in the final ranking were nationally recognized with enough survey responses to achieve a 95% confidence level with no more than a 2% margin of error. Kitchen and bathroom countertop brands included in the final ranking were nationally recognized by people who were actively shopping for a countertop for their home.
The Lifestory Research Net Trust Quotient Score measures the trust in multiple product categories, including countertop brands. The trust score is formulated based on thousands of customer reviews of the brands in the study. The study finds that trust impacts purchase intent and word of mouth expressions, but trust also acts as a fuel source that can lift brand impressions of quality and other brand judgments.
WHICH BRAND CAN YOU TRUST?
The Lifestory Research America's Most Trusted® Countertop Brand Study investigates countertop brands' perceptions and identifies how shopping and brand encounters influence customers' overall value perceptions of the brand. We ask questions such as the best countertop brands, which countertop brands do people recommend the most, which countertops brand can you trust, and the best quality countertop brands? The study also investigates purchase standards that influence customer experiences and behavior.
The countertop brands that were most recognized in the study were Corian, Cambria, Gibraltar, Silestone, Wilsonart, Soapstone, and Formica. Other brands in the study that did not attain a sufficient brand awareness level included Staron, Swanstone, Mystera, Compaq, Avonite, Hanstone, and Caesarstone.
Corian received the highest Net Trust Quotient score and earned the #1 ranking of most trusted countertop brands. This is the second consecutive year of the kitchen and bath countertop study and the second time in which Corian won the most trusted countertop brand.
