The Lifestory Research 2021 America’s Most Trusted® Lockset Brand Study found Schlage as the most trusted brand among people considering purchasing a lockset for their home. This is the second year of this product study, and it is the second year in a row in which Schlage captured the top rankings among lockset brands.

Schlage generated a Net Trust Quotient Score of 123.9 and the 5 Star Trust Rating among people actively shopping for a lockset.  Schlage received the best reviews and trust ratings among the most popular lockset door hardware brands as judged by consumers. Which door lockset can you trust?

The Lifestory Research 2021 America’s Most Trusted® Lockset Brand study examines trust among customers actively shopping a door handles and lockset. The 2020 ranking is based on 5,396 opinions of people surveyed between January and December in the United States. Brands included in the final ranking were nationally recognized by people who were actively shopping for a lockset. The trust score is calculated based on how thousands of people judge the merits of more than 500 brands and product segments. Brands included in the final ranking were nationally recognized with enough survey responses to achieve a 95% confidence level with no more than a 2% margin of error.

The Lifestory Research 2021 America’s Most Trusted® Lockset Brand Study explores shopper perceptions of door lockset brands and examines how each shopping event and brand encounter impacts customers’ overall value perceptions of the door lockset brands. The study investigates the questions asked when people are shopping for a door lockset. What are the best door lockset brands? Which door lockset brands do people recommend? Which door lockset brands can you trust?  What is the quality of different door lockset brands? The study also identifies critical service standards that drive higher customer experiences and the bottom line.  The study addresses door lockset shopper reviews and summarizes net promoter, quality reviews, purchase intent, as well as a variety of other metrics.

The lockset brands that were found to be most recognized in the study were Schlage, Emtek, Master Lock, Weiser, Yale, Kwikset, Stanley, Dexter, and Baldwin. Schlage received the highest Net Trust Quotient score and earned the #1 ranking of most trusted lockset brands. This is the second consecutive year of the lockset study and the second time Schlage won the most trusted lockset brand.
