Each year, Lifestory Research surveys thousands of people searching for the best new flooring and home design features and asks consumers to review the brands they trust the most.
The Lifestory Research 2022 America's Most Trusted® Laminate, Vinyl, & Wood Flooring Study found the most trusted brand among people considering the purchase of a laminate, vinyl, or wood flooring brand was Armstrong. Armstrong produced the highest score on the Net Trust Quotient Score among recognized flooring brands in the study. Armstrong captured the 5 Star Rating with a Net Trust Quotient Score of 108.0 among people actively shopping for laminate, vinyl, or wood flooring. This is the second consecutive year in which Armstrong has captured the #1 ranking. (See 2021 Results).
Consumer opinions are collected over the prior 12 months throughout the United States. The Lifestory Research America's Most Trusted® Study recognizes the top-rated brands based on large-scale consumer surveys. The number of people evaluating each brand in the 2022 study included 5,401 among customers shopping for laminate, vinyl, or wood flooring. Trust is measured through the Lifestory Research Net Trust Quotient Score, in which each brand is evaluated in regards to trust. An index score of 100 is average for all brands included in the study. A top #1 rank represents the brand that generated the highest Net Trust Quotient Score within the product category.
